In no particular order:
- There is such a thing as love at first sight.
- Time passes too quickly.
- Baby brain really does exist.
- Routines are important for Mummy and baby.
- It's true that nothing prepares you for being a parent.
- A baby does have different cries and it is possible to recognise what they mean.
- My body is amazing.
- It is possible for me to function on a few hour's sleep.
- Preparation and organisation. E suffers from car sickness, meaning I have to be prepared even for short journeys.
- To trust my instinct.
- Little milestones will make me so happy and proud I could burst.
- What busy really is!
- No matter how hard I try to plan things, flexibility and changes will be required at some point.
- Things that were important before, aren't now.
- I was meant to be a Mummy.
- Baby slobber, sick and wee really isn't that bad.
- There is nothing better than a smile from my baby, along with slobbery kisses.
- Being a Mummy really is the best - and hardest - job in the world.
- To be thankful for every moment.
- To avoid the colour white!
So very true! Couldn't agree more :)
