Weekend Walks in Wells

On Saturday we decided to go out for the day, just getting in the car and seeing where we ended up, which happened to be Wells.  It turned out to be a lovely day.

I love being along the coast but at this time of year, it can be pretty miserable trying to get there - there is so much traffic heading to Hunstanton and further around, particularly caravans. Luckily for us, the roads weren't too busy, probably because people are heading home after their holidays, ready for school starting next week.

There was quite a breeze but it turned out perfect for walking around. We had a good mooch around the shops and walked a short distance along the quay with E, who decided she wanted to get out of the buggy and walk. She managed a surprising distance and despite being obviously tired still cried when we put her back in the buggy.

There's a really nice park just opposite the quay where we had planned to take her on the swings but they were being used so we popped her on to a wobbly toy (I don't know the correct name!) which she loved. We also popped in to the arcade and she had a ride on one of the cars which just moved back and forth, which she also seemed to enjoy.

I can't wait for more days like these and I'm sure it will be doubly fun when baby no 2 joins us.
