29 Weeks Pregnant

Today sees me hit the 29 weeks mark! I'm so pleased with this, it means the 'end' is starting to creep ever quicker towards me.

On New Year's Eve (oh yes - Happy New Year, before I forget!) I had my glucose tolerance test which was.... interesting. I also had one with E and sailed through it but this time it made me feel really quite ill, as though I was going to be sick (the Lucozade I had to glug gave me heartburn) and pass out. So I was quite worried about the results, needlessly as it turns out. Today I saw the midwife who confirmed that everything was OK.

At the midwife appointment I also had to have my anti D injection. Due to a cock up by the reception staff there was a scrabble to find it and when they did find it, it was in the wrong fridge. Luckily she was able to do it but as it had just come out of the fridge it was still cold and therefore not particularly pleasant!

(I'm behind with my photos - not helped by this weather, living in an old/dark house, its difficult to get any good light at the best of times, let alone in winter!)
And of course she felt baby and did my measurements. I'm measuring 31 weeks, which I'm not worried with. Last time I was worried about measurements and E was predicted to be a big baby but in end she was 7lb 6oz. So this time I'm going (trying to go!) with the flow and not worry. I had been sure that baby was breech (as E had been up until the week before she arrived) but the midwife was sure she was head down which goes someway to explaining why I feel the kicks where I do - mostly high up and to the right. One thing I am sure of is that she's sitting on my bladder! I also feel much larger than I look in this photo! I've definitely got a waddle on and I can't remember the last time I was able to sit or lie down comfortably.
