Our Week

This Sunday, I thought I'd take a look back at the previous week and link up with Hannah's 'The Week That Was Captured' (I've actually wanted to link up for some time but trying to get a post organised and written has proved impossible - until now!).

So here's my week, in pictures:

1 & 2 - I was lucky enough to get some Boots and Body Shop vouchers for my birthday so we popped in to town and I treated myself to some new make up and beauty products. I was a bit sceptical about the Soap & Glory items (I find the body butters etc too heavy and scented) but I'm completely sold on them now! This might be my last shopping trip alone before baby arrives - a couple of hours shopping and I was shattered!

3 - Me and E. Getting photos of her is tricky sometimes so I took advantage of Peppa Pig and chocolate buttons.

4 - We've been doing lots of colouring this week, mainly because I've been too tired to run around after her/crawl about on the floor as I often do.

5 - Naptime battles! Still taking place but, at the risk of jinxing things, the past week has been a little easier.

6 - Teatime! This was during a particularly successful teatime and I've included it in my photo round up as it was the first photo I took on my new phone, having correctly adjusted the settings (I've only had it since early January....).

7 - E is obsessed with this magnetic doodle. It cost the grand total of £3 and you can tell - the pictures fade immediately and the magnetic dust doesn't completely clear but the first time she played with it she sat for well over an hour. £3 well spent! (And as she loves it so much, we've brought her a better version!).

8 - This week saw me hit 37 weeks. Pffffttttt. I'm uncomfortable and getting lots of aches, pains and little twinges. Each one sees me thinking "oh! is this it?!". Needless to say, it hasn't been, despite a little scare (for want of a better word) earlier in the week. I hope she won't keep us waiting too much longer.

9 - Muslin cloths! Bye bye dull and grey muslin cloths, hello flamingo pink cloths.  This was something I've been wanting to do for ages and I was stupidly pleased that they turned out so well.

Linking up with:

So that was some of my week. Pop over to Hannah's blog to catch up with hers.

  1. Oh good taste with the Soap and Glory products. I love them too.
The magnetic doodle was a bargain, what a great find. And I love the muslins. Well done x

  2. Aah I had a similar age gap with my two and I dreaded losing the afternoon nap! Good luck for the next couple of weeks! xx #TWTWC

  3. The magnetic doodle looks fab! Busby would love something like that :) You look fab! I am envious of your beautiful Bump!

Thank you so much for linking up to #TWTWC xx

  4. Wow, not long to go! Good-luck. Love the magnetic doodle. My little one has dropped her nap and she's 2.5…but she was never great at them and it was always hit and miss. It's actually quite a relief not to be ruled by naps anymore. Though things can get very grumpy at teatime! #TWTWC Vicky x
