Afternoon Walks

Once T arrived, I was lucky that D was able to take two weeks' paternity leave. This time around, I tried to take it as easy as I could but that didn't always feel possible with E needing amusing. I wanted to make sure that she didn't feel left out with all the attention going to T and I didn't want her stuck at home getting bored.

One of the things we did was take E out for lots of little walks and one of the places we visited was Sandringham, as she enjoyed it so much last time. Unfortunately, the play park was still closed for refurbishment but we took a ball and frisbee and let E run riot and she loved it. It was lovely to get out of the house and get some fresh air and T slept for the whole trip too. As it was a weekday, it was lovely and quiet too! Hopefully, the park will have re-opened the next time we go.

I think Sandringham will quickly become one of our favourite places to go to. There's so much to explore and anything that gets us all out of the house and off of the sofa, burning up energy can only be a good thing, particularly for the kids!
