Mummy to a 2 Year Old

This week, E turned 2!

We had planned to go to Thetford Forest and let her run loose on the music trail and toddler tower but the weather had different ideas. Yep, it rained. And rained. So we took her to Farmer Fred's soft play, in Heacham instead. It was jam packed and we were lucky to get a seat.  After our 2 hours were up, we hopped in the car with the idea we would stop for lunch on the way home. After trying 2 restaurants which were closed and a third with a car park over flowing, we stopped at the local farm shop cafĂ© which was lovely. Even lovelier was T sleeping through, meaning I got to eat my lunch whilst it was still hot! Afterwards, it was home for a cup of tea and slice of chocolate fudge cake which my mother in law made especially for E (and which I forgot to photograph to share with you!).
E was completely spoilt. She had a kitchen, sand pit, shopping trolley, chalkboard and lots of other lovely gifts.
Cake, chocolate, toys, running riot..... what more could a 2 year old ask for?!
