Review: Stokke Flexi Bath

Baby baths. You wouldn’t think there would be so much choice, but there is! I didn’t give it much thought, to begin with but we had one with a large removable sponge that baby rests on. Having seen it mentioned online, I had to say yes when the opportunity came up to review the Stooke Flexi Bath!

Product Information:
  • Suitable from birth to 4 years
  • Lightweight
  • Folds compactly for easy storage
  • Great when storage space is limited and also for travelling
  • Newborn support is available to purchase separately
  • Free 2 year guarantee
  • Dimensions: H=63cm, W=10cm, D=24cm

What we thought:
  • With so much baby stuff littered about the place, the foldable element really appealed to me. The bath folds down nicely with a catch to hold it in place and sits nicely in the corner of our bathroom.
  • The base is a non-slip rubber which was great on our wooden bathroom floor.
  • The insert would definitely be a benefit as it was slightly awkward trying to hold E over the side of the bath and I kept getting the catch caught on my sleeves.
  • Talking of the catch, this was my only real negative – I think it would be helpful if the catch could twist round whilst the bath is in use.
  • It isn’t that easy to carry once its filled up but I think baby baths are pretty awkward to lift and carry anyway!
  • The plug at the bottom makes the bath easy to drain.
  • The bath is recommended for use from birth to age 4. I would definitely recommend getting the insert if baby isn’t yet sitting.  E fitted in but wasn’t keen as she didn’t have much room to move about and, far more importantly to her, kick about and splash. That said, the bath would be ideal for a toddler if you were going away and the hotel didn’t have a bath in the room.

So, the big question…. Would we buy it? Yes, absolutely!

Just to be clear: We were sent the Stokke Flexi Bath free of charge for the purpose of this review. All words and opinions are my own. Further information about Stokke and their products can be found on their website.
