Kicking the Leaves

Sometimes, you just need to get out of the house. Fresh air and a walk can make you feel so much better, particularly if you're having 'one of those days'.

We've been checking out some of the local parks and recently visited the one opposite E's nursery. Sadly, this area seems to be lacking in nice parks - they all look a bit run down and the equipment is dated and not very toddler friendly.

E was distinctly unimpressed with what was on offer, that and the fact that the slide was wet and Mummy didn't have anything with her to dry it but I managed to get her to have a quick go on the swings.

So we had a kick around in the leaves instead.

I think it may take E some time to be convinced of the fun of kicking around in the leaves, I think I enjoyed it more than she did. Regardless, I think she was just happy to be outside. And so was I.

  1. One day the fun of kicking leaves will hit her and you won't be able to stop her doing it. It's a shame there aren't many parks around that are appealing to people E's age. Thanks for linking up with Country Kids.

  2. I LOVE kicking autumn leaves about, especially when they're all freshly fallen and crunchy!
