I was tagged yonks ago by the lovely Laura over at Life with Baby Kicks to share my eight photos of happiness, so here goes:
Llyn Padarn
This was taken back in 2009 when D and I stayed in Anglesey. It probably doesn't look all that special to anyone else but for me its a reminder of what I can do if I really try because we did a 5k (or was it 5 miles, I can't quite remember) walk all the way around it. We took a trip to Llanberis a year or so before and decided to go back as the Mountain Railway had been closed. Completely spur of the moment, we decided to go for a walk. It took us 3 or 4 hours, with lots of steep hills and difficult terrain but the views were amazing. This page shows you the scale of it, as well as some of the detail.

Newborn E
I can just about remember this being taken when E was a few hours old. Note the birthing ball in the background, as well as the cannulas in each hand and puncture marks on the wrist from trying to get bloods. I don't have many pictures of me with either of my girls but I do like this one. She's in a babygrow that is far too big and she's just snuggled straight into me.
2 Day Old E
This was taken whilst we were waiting for my Mum and some of my family to come and see E. I couldn't believe how good I felt and was very much on a high.
The day after our wedding
This was taken the day after we got married. With our wedding being so low key, there was never any thoughts or discussions of a honeymoon so my Mum and I took E to the farm and it was a lovely day out. It felt like everything had slotted into place.

Newborn T
Taken in her first hour I think I was still fairly out of it when this picture was taken but after an 11hr labour, I was just relieved she was finally here!
E and Newborn T
This is one of the first pictures I have of the girls together. When we first brought T home, E wasn't impressed. She wouldn't go near her and it took her a while to come to me. I love this picture because E was really studying her and gently rocking the seat for her.
T and E
This picture was taken a 2 or 3 months ago. T is still very keen on having her milk from the bottle and not a cup and E was quite keen to try and help by feeding T. This was one of those rare occasions that T tolerated it. I love how T is looking at E and how much E is concentrating.
So, there you have it. Eight photos of happiness.
