What they wore #46

This week has been a bit of a wash out with both girls being full of coughs and colds and generally a bit grumpy and out of sorts. Today I'm sharing one of E's outfits which looks lovely on but try as I might, she just didn't want to stay still for me to grab a pic!

D picked this dress when he was shopping one lunch time and as is often the case, its not something I would choose.  Its not that I didn't like how it looked on the hanger or the pattern but that it has a lot of black in it. I have nothing against the colour and a little bit in an outfit is fine but its not a colour I'd normally choose. Whilst they wear a bit of navy blue, I do prefer the girls in brighter colours.

The dress is from Sainsburys and the cardigan and leggings are from Primark.

What do you think - are you happy to dress your children in black or do you prefer brighter colours?

  1. Gorgeous! I have also dressed Rosalie in black this week. I love it. Although I do think it makes her look more grown up x

  2. Awww hope your kiddies are feeling better! Tartan is very appropriate this week for Burn's Night. I will confess that I much prefer bright colours and so prob not an outfit I would choose but often those outfits end up being the cutest. #funkykidfriday

  3. It looks lovely - although I'm a bit rubbish at imagining what it would look like on! My boys mostly wear bright colours but I don't think there's anything wrong with a bit of black sometimes. #funkykidfriday

  4. I completely get where your coming from, I tend to shy away from the dark colours but seeing this outfit now makes me realised just how cute it would look on Leah... and of course E! Thank you for sharing #TT_Thursday

  5. I think D picked a lovely outfit, I bet she looked pretty and smart in it x #TT_Thursday #FKF

  6. Aw, this is so cute! Colours are fun, but it doesn't have to be all brights, all the time, I think. x

  7. I can't believe that dress is from Sainbury's! It's fab!

Thanks for linking up to #FunkyKidFriday xx
