Mothers Day 2019

I've been spoilt rotten this Mother's Day, much more so than I expected.  Both girls have been excited about it for a few days. This week, at school, they made their cards and chose their gifts. We send £5 into the school and the Friends of the School have a selection of gifts for them to choose from. This was T's first year of doing it and she was so excited to get involved with it. I wasn't sure how well she would do with it as she's not good at keeping secrets but I've got to hand it to her, she did it! And also managed to keep another secret too.

T got into the car on Friday after school, handed me my card and told me that I could have it early, telling me".... thank you for all the jobs you do Mummy", followed by a big kiss. She came in at 6,30 with my present, a mug that she had chosen for me and a massive grin.  Shortly after, E came through with her present, she chose a photo frame and candle, a long with a ceramic heart she had decorated for me.

When they came back from sorting out the animals with D, they had two mugs for me that they had painted with Nanny. E's was filled with chocolate and T's had a little plant in it.  She'd managed to keep this quiet!

And finally, later in the morning I had the gorgeous flowers shown above delivered.  They drive me absolutely potty most days but I really am a very lucky Mummy.

I hope you've all had a lovely day too.
