Twinkly Tuesday | Featuring Wander & Luxe

Good Morning! Can you believe we are already in the last week of November?! Last night we went to watch the local Christmas lights being switched on, everyone around us seemed to be enjoying themselves, as did the girls but I was left feeling a little 'meh'.  It just seems too early to start putting decorations up. The girls have already been asking if we can have our tree and decorations up but I just can't bring myself to do it just yet.  Is anyone else feeling the same?

At odds with my little grumble above about it being too early to be getting festive, there's one area I've always been willing to compromise on and that's when it comes to clothes!  One of my favourite things about Christmas is seeing the kids dressed up.  I remember we went overboard for E's first Christmas, she was dressed up as everything (penguin, Christmas pudding and an elf, to name a few!).  So I couldn't resist this post from Wander & Luxe sharing a selection of adorable Christmas outfits. My favourite was the llama PJ set, what's yours?

  1. I'm having a slow start to the Christmas season, but here in the U.S., we're late celebrating Thanksgiving, so once we enjoy that occasion, I'll get on with it.

  2. I liked the baby deer boots and robe when I first looked over the adorable Christmas outfits but looking at it again I could have seen all of my nephews in the long sleeved Christmas shirt with red bow tie. Maybe one of them will have a little boy (two little girls so far).
I have hated all the early Christmas stuff for years and I make a point of having plenty of Thanksgiving decorations and lights to make sure Christmas doesn't make an appearance until after Thanksgiving. Although there's less time between the two this year so I can see decorations going up a bit earlier. The worst thing is taking everything down right after Christmas Day. Leave it up as long as you can I say.
